The 108
3ds max, Digital Fusion, Photoshop, VRay
April 2007

I intended to create early hours of a cold autumn day.

In this work, I've focused on unwrapping the UVW's, painting them and creating diffuse, specular, displacement and bumps maps. The whole scene was done in 3 days (approximately 40 hours) using 3dsmax. I spent most of my time with unwrapping and texture painting in Photoshop.

I didn't play too much with the lighting and rendering setup because this is just a still image and I know I can easily tweak the scene in post-production with Fusion.

At last, final touches, minor manupulations, framing and titles. are done using Photoshop
